Located in Westover Hills, the 19,133-square-foot mansion is just one of three residences ever designed by the late Chinese-American architect, and is also the largest.

The Pritzker Prize winner's other designs include The Slayton House in Washington, DC, and his own personal weekend retreat in Katonah, NY.

Known for his modernist style, the timeless estate features an eye-catching layout with museum-inspired interiors, including a soaring glass-roofed garden room, an art gallery, a luxurious primary suite, and a wellness retreat.

The landmark property is being offered for the first time since it was constructed in 1969.

Pei is best known for designing some of the world's most architecturally significant structures, including the Pyramid at the Louvre in Paris, the East Building of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, and, in Dallas, the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center and Dallas City Hall.

Located on 3.86 acres about 6 miles west of Fort Worth, the property, surrounded by hilltop views, also boasts a heated in-ground pool, a putting green, and a six-car garage. After hitting the market, it quickly became the area's priciest listing.

Pei designed the home nearly 60 years ago for oil heiress Anne Tandy and her retail executive husband, Charles Tandy, and it has remained in the family ever since, according to the Wall Street Journal.

In 1970, Pei was featured in House & Garden magazine saying the enormous estate was designed for "two people—or two or three hundred."

The entertainer's paradise has hosted grand soirees that have included presidents, actor/comedian Bob Hope, and world-famous piano virtuoso Van Cliburn, who is said to have played the piano there.

Formal living and dining rooms can be found throughout the light-filled one-level layout, which also features three kitchens, including a commercial one for grand-scale entertaining.

A stunning garden room has a steel-and-glass roof with a wood lattice sunscreen and Portuguese marble floors.

The lavish primary suite boasts a sitting area, a study, and a spa-inspired bath. An adjacent library with a built-in bookcase has a fireplace, a wet bar, and views of the pool and grounds.

Other over-the-top amenities include frameless windows set in concrete walls, three fireplaces, an elevator, and two climate-controlled wine cellars.

Also found on the sprawling lot are two gated driveways, a turfed yard, two wells for irrigation, a greenhouse, a guard office, and a four-vehicle carport.
